What is The Preacher Deck?
The unique idea of the Gospel being interestingly incorporated into a performance is invented by magician cum pastor, Rosen Roy. The magic trick of playing cards is seamlessly integrated with contemporary gospel sharing skills, leading to the birth of “The Preacher’s Deck”.
As its name would suggest, this distinctive deck of cards is specially designed as a gospel-sharing tool, employing eye-catching and intricate designs on top of bible verses. While eliminating the impression of gambling which is often associated with playing cards, "The Preacher’s Deck" brings card performances to another level with added value in this new content.
Why Preacher’s Deck?
For years, Rosen Roy has captivated various audiences to listen to the gospel through the lively and appealing use of magic performances. Through his effective blend of enchanting presentations together with compelling messages about the true meaning of life, many hearts have opened to receive the Gospel. Fascinating performances can open doors to sow seeds of faith! To encourage and empower more youth to share the gospel, Rosen Roy worked hard to put together the skills of evangelism and magic trick performances into a single deck of cards, thus conceiving the brilliant idea of this easy-to-learn and exciting gospel tool.
Some common gospel tools widely used across churches today include: The Four Spiritual Laws, The Bridge, The Wordless Book, The Evangecube¹, Gospel Magic Tricks, Gospel Leaflets etc. Unfortunately, all of them are dated and though they may still preserve their functionality in terms of their design, concepts and usage (with some of the children and elderly still being receptive to these tools), they have definitely lost the appeal to the younger crowd. In addition, these gospel tools are also restricted to one method of usage. Apart from preaching the Gospel step by step, it is difficult to add on one’s own creative ideas and train the eloquence of the presenter from all aspects.
